What is X-Vir (Entecavir) used for?

X-Vir (Entecavir) is an oral antiviral medication prescribed to treat patients who are suffering from chronic hepatitis B. It operates by controlling the reproduction of virus cells making it easier for the immune system to control the infection. It should be noted that this medicated is only meant to control your infection and will not cure this condition.
